I don’t think it’s a straight scam, because it is a working game. The issue is a decade of development, along with the fact that it’s one of the most funded games of all time. All I’m saying is it was way too ambitious, the market for ships in that game is immensely predatory (I know you don’t need to buy ships, but just because you don’t have an addictive personality doesn’t mean a ton of people aren’t spending their life savings on SC) and with the amount of funding/time, more should be done. It reminds me of BSG a lot. Tarkov is a game you can play, it’s not a scam. But Nikita doesn’t know how to manage a company and the devs are dumbasses.

SC feels similar. Yes, they have a ton of money and time put into it, but the amount of progress that’s being made with those resources feels lackluster. Sure, there’s a ton of detail in ships, planets, etc, but I guess realistically the game still feels incredibly barebones.
