i was speaking specifically about insects and bugs in human houses.
my theory was that people's activity played a significant role in the activity periods of those insects and bugs, timing specifically to avoid human contact.
got the idea from seeing spiders and sometimes even centipedes going around when i get up at night, but same ones rarely moving during daytime
although in my case they dont seem to be specifically hiding, just not moving as to not attract attention
