Look PalCore does not have the encryption keys, it takes them from the server, you won't find it inside of the .dll itself
So we only get something if the server were to leak the key
we already know that it contacts a server to authenticate i think flic just stumbled on that, me personally am looking to find where its mentioning the contacting server if anything like that even exists (im rookie at this specific stuff)
Now I have this suspicion that maybe the system was changed, but the dll remains the same idk

If that’s what you’re asking about alife extended hasn’t done more than adjust some scenario timing since 1.1 released.
Shay’s living zone adjusted scenarios and timing. And one version allows you to customize what you want from spawn scenarios with add on paks. Another version ties scenarios to rank system in the game I believe.

There the Alife Flic and I put together call A-Life Uh.. Found A Way which rewrote how the scenario cfg file ai spawns. They are spread in an 860 m radius. And include some rare chances for exotic mutants in the farther ranges
Both use an engine.ini edit that I stumbled into so npcs in offline keep moving instead of pausing
I do need to apply the small updates they did to a couple files in A-Life Uh.. Found A Way. Just waiting to get the update downloaded

There are two aspects of this:
1, I'd like to make NPCs notice enemy faster - in terms of their 'vision meter' filling up faster
2. And then after that - there is this another weird 'combat start delay' which playes out in which they start running instead of shooting immediatelly
I played with some numbers here and there but was not able to find a properly working solutions for both issues
You mean like how they run to cover first / run closer to your location
Yep. I'd either like this phase to be way shorter or completely disabled. I noticed that when in the combat proper - they will sometimes still do it and its good then. However this happening at the begging of each encounter makes the whole thing too schematic.
I would assume that modifying these curves would do the trick for the issue#1 😉 Unfortunately we canno edit curves atm

anyways, fwiw. seems like there's a new modifier for AmmoPrototypes.cfg - CoverPiercingMod. My guess is that bullets can now be setup to penetrate different levels of materials in game...although I'm not sure if I can say that GSC knows what they're doing with this new variable, seeing as how they just slap the same value for ArmorPiercingMod into this.
this seems to affect the new CoverPiercing variable in WeaponGeneralSetupPrototypes.cfg.
Another option would be to increase the bone scores in objprototypes

oh and this is pretty funny. Seems like in 1.2 GSC still intends for the TOZ to have the dispersion model of an assault rifle - they even doubled down on making it OP by increasing NPC's accuracy now, dropping DispersionRadius from 15 to 5
I had thought they would adjust the TOZ's NPC stats in NPCWeaponAttributesPrototypes.cfg to compensate for this, but no it's still the exact same as 1.1.3.

Every other pre-rendered cutscene has all used assets + sounds in the files. Only the intro cutscene has everything baked into the bink 2 video
