why dont you just take the base mod without any of the extra changes, but lower the stam cost to something like 40% just to see if it works

Ive so far figured out that, we need to build a Primary Data Asset as some kind of Blueprint, then from that you can build the DataAsset for each weather which then references each CurveFloat asset. Seems like a lot of work, but, damn would be great to get working....

i have an engine.ini currently that works for me, or made it a little bit better, can send if you want

Hi, I'm very new to this but come from IT background. I got Fmodel running, got the usmap file and got the key. I can now locate for example ArmorPrototypes.cfg inside the pakchunk0-Window.pak but where can I find the CoreVariables.cfg? I want to see how this looks like after the latest update as I have this in one of the mods I am using.
i believe its in utoc not pak but im not in fmodel rn to see

Do we know if the patch has broken any of the more popular mods? I dont have a lot, but am worried about the optimization mod I have, as well as A-Life extended and Grok's econ/balance mod
seems to work fine
its changed a lot of balancing issues like economy, mutants, combat and ai etc. so i would imagine they would overwrite the patch

yeah mine does this thing as when you very close to it, it like loses all the leaves, and just looks like a dried/dead bush, but if you move further away it is a life bush with leaves

Intellij is pretty terrible for non-project based setup or for languages it doesn't have any support for.
in settings try setting environmental and foliage to epic, the last 2 settings i think

I just noticed one very strange thing in Fmodel. It shows me also my modded PAK file. For example my zzzzMergedMods_P.pak. When I open the CoreVariables.cfg inside the modded archive in Fmodel it has the exact same content as the vanilla CFG inside pakchunk0-Windows.pak but I know for a fact that the contents are different. I can even confirm it by using Repak to unpack the zzzzMergedMods and inspecting the CFG file there it is indeed different than the vanilla one. So how come in Fmodel they look the same? 😮
because fmodel is bugged

Not really going to argue semantics on what constitutes game source code. but they are assets in a pakfile, and you've posted them wholesale online. mods are at least limited in scope and not full dumps of everything. There's not really anything gray about wholesale dumping of game assets and making it available online.

i kept the grok's one, just re-installed it and swapped out ones for the 20% ones, otherwise with gsc that nerfed mutants and groks mod that i had on 40% and 60% mutants would have been 1 shot

i think in CFG you see only multipliers. They set 3000 = 1.0
and if you put in cfg 2 it will be 6000

also why have two separate mechanics if one already describes the effect? the fuck? you have specific breakpoints like 0-25: drunk, 25-50: very drunk, 50-100: super drunk. then instead of just making 75-100 ultra drunk, noo lets make a separate mechanic

Sure I can add it withing minutes to my codebase BUT what will be the impact in long term ? Do I have to move some UI part for it ? If yes, is my UX guy is not overwhelmed ? Does our unary tests protocol will handle the "Button" correctly ? Will the method write behind that button pass our readability check ? Does the method interact with other parts of the software ? I'm running a new playtrough with Maklane gunplay mod and in Stalker difficulty, the mutant are manageable yet dangerous if I'm not prudent enough

armor durability and weapon durability was awful if that isn't fixed I stay with grok's rebalance

not sure if this is the best category, but im having an issue with stalker 2 after update. my localizations all are messed up, displayed sid_misc_xxxx before all the Ui buttons. when i swap it to russian language, it all works fine, but every other language has this sid_misc_xx issue

I guess, it might be possible to add more weathers into the game. Light Rainy and Thundery already have their references, so it was easy. For anything else ugh i dont even want to guess

I wonder how hard it would be to change the Geiger counter sounds. So far in my experience, when you're in a "dangerous" radiation area you just get a lot of clicks. However remember that each click is an individual particle hitting the sensor. Realistically the audio you get for a dangerous level of exposure in the game is equivalent to a "huh this is a bit higher than normal" IRL. A dangerous level would have so many clicks they'd have merged together into a solid tone at that point. Which IMO would be a terrifying sound to hear lol, which has me wishing that was ingame.
