Hey guys! I am not familiar with moding, but I know a lot of you are and I have an idea. When you want to scroll in the inventory of your stash or at a vendor for example, its quite annoying that the "scroll bar" that you click on in order to scroll down or up is so thin. I have a mouse wheel lock on my mouse which allows me to scroll insanely fast on my logitech hero mouse, but in this game when i want to scroll with this speed in the inventory it doesnt work. So the solution would be to make the scroll bar thicker so its easier to being able to click and drag or/and make the mod also drag the corners so we can make the inventory window wider/longer. Do you know if any mod like this is already done or is anyone willing to make that? I am not sure if im in the correct chat 😄 Thanks guys!

i use the ~ now but it worked
pretty sure the ~ doesn't actually matter and UE just checks everything recursively after \Content\Paks

i dont understand why they made the "ui" so...... 1990 underwhelming and not telling me* shit at all. I find a weapon with a cogwheel knowing SOMETHING is modded. I clearly see there is a foregrip and a colimator ontop BUT im not able to inspect the weapon at all. Rightclicking is fuck all useless

Playing the game with a mod that increases the distance NPCs stay spawned in really showed some audio issues with distant gunfire and explosion sounds. One moment they sound 200m away but then all the sudden I hear the explosion and it sounds like it's right next to me. Do you guys think this is another reason for the NPC online distance?

How to extract model from .uasset? Find "SkeletalMeshes" dir, but any asset from it will not trigger the 3D viewer. Addons for Blender do not open any meshes either

there are multiple scripts to check for conflicts, one here and one on nexus as well as an automatic solution for resolving conflicts available in here and on nexus

Bloodsucker in intro was a bad move. Should have have the guy mauled by like, a pack of boars that scatter after the act so you can just get into the bunker and right out.
Showcases that the zone is dangerous well enough.
Keep low danger mutants in southern areas where it makes sense then ramp up the difficulty by making more dangerous mutants mroe common when going into later game areas.

I agree but this one is supposed to prevent you from going there without throwing a bolt at it, which sucks because I just came through no effort. It also breaks other anomalies they just move couple meters.

Yeah, mod loaders right now are not needed as the mods now are just config files that do very little changes to the game.
I have a ton of mods installed right now and no issues at all. Just shoved them in the mods folder.

How to set correct textures for model exported from .uasset? In the viewport of FModel it's showing somehow wrong texture. I exported correct textures and model to merge them in Blender, but they are still completely broken. Is it a problem with FModel or am I doing something wrong?

This shit is fucking based ngl. No Man's Sky community can update mods and merge them in an instant with it.
It automatically unpacks the required game file, finds by string (or other defined search methods) and applies a modified value to them, then repacks the edited file into a new pak.
If it detects conflicts it takes alphabetical approach and creates a merged pak that is loaded after the original mods that were merged.
Has anyone figured out how to edit the double-click quick transfer time window?
I.E. how fast you need to double-click to transfer an item
In Laymans terms, you grab a bunch of lua files from Nexus
Game updates, click build button, tool grabs latest files, applies mod values, makes pak files
Should work for simple mods like Groks rebalance, not sure about bigger ones like Real Weapon Names or Mutant Loot

Hey guys, tried to make my first mod to reduce amount of stormy+rainy weather. Tweaked some of the params in the WeatherSelectionPrototypes.cfg (reduced weight for rainy and stormy weather, increased for sunny, tweaked a bit for cloudy), packed everything according to the original paths, but cant see any changes towards more sunny/cloudy weather, less rainy/stormy.
