No the SS-99 is still better. And if you upgrade its rad resistance you can actually wear some higher tier artifacts without needing as many anti rad artifacts equipped. Would 100% recommend keeping that suit for awhile until you find the “SEVA-I” I mained that suit for awhile because I could just put a compass in my one lead lined container, and the carry something for weight carry and still have 2 slots left with minimal upgrading to the suit.

Why bother with suit put weird water for 2 seconds on the belt Rad is gone. I don't have to give up Exo for resistances or slots, i get all belt slots plus 1 lead and i am a walking tank. There are many problems in the zone and different solutions depending how you play. No armor is better then the other, some are best in other fields.

Want to be a Tank straping 5 Artifacts with, Compass, Liquid rock, Cube and weight artifacts. Take Exo

Want to be allrounder? Take Seva with mixed artifacts or other all in one Armor.

Want to be Flexibel Fast but still bit Hard to dome instandly. Take a Medium Suit with a fitting Helmet and Upgrade to your fitting.

In my eyes there is no Meta Armor/set ... only good solutions to different problems.

i just did some testing myself, using my tourist suit plus optician gas mask, then tourist suit on its own, then sp99, and I can confirm 100% that the radiation resists on all three had zero effect on whether i rook rads from my artifacts. Perhaps they reduce the rads that the artifacts give off by a percentage, but the only factor that controlled whether the artifacts do give off radiation at all was ofsetting it by radiation protection artifact. 1 max radiation protection artifact + 2 strong radiation emitting artifacts = balanced exactly, and adding a single weak radiation emitting artifacts to that mix would start the radiation symbol moving in the corner, and it was exactly the same for all 3 combos of gear

Surrounded by Duty, Freedome and Loners so yeah splitting did them bit better but not good either as before, they had literally concentration camps where Loners farmed artifacts for them and outpost to just steal all your money only later to steal it again when you go back.

Back then loners were alive more worth because if you just rob the money you can rob him again later.

They behave like pirates, both parties don't want to fight and only care about resources and wasting ammo and manpower is not wort on both sides, so giving up money is the most smart option to ensure both parties survival.
