there are only a couple functions names with a life association for radius spawning, randomized factions, time, etc.. they could easily be renamed from random encounters and called a life to pretend oh look its there, if there is actually a life in game with offline capability but bugged there would be tons of code with lots of function calls to a life and different files for such things but there is no such files

I hated the start of the game, did not like it at all first couple of hours. Started to slightly enjoy it a little more the further I went in but the further I went the more the game broke and also the game revealed many more issues I hadn't noticed in the beginning. This is a one and done playthrough currently, there are too many issues and once I've finish the main quests I won't be returning to the game for a while. Needs a lot of work and I think it will take a long time.

Metro is very VERY good. There are deffinately phone anomalies int hat game too xD Up ont he surface on the few times you go up there int he first 2 you have like. Children laughin, phones ringing in apartments and when you get there you see allt he death and shit. Or like walking around your vision changes and you see a bunch of people hanging out. the next it shifts you back to the zone and there are like 200 bodies piled on each other as they tried to get out.

Really? Metro is like Stalker if Stalker was the whole world, not just Chernobyl. Metro is BY FAR one of my favorite book series and games. In fact some monsters in metro are quite similar tot he monsters in stalker. Only issue is Metro is a LOT more linear. To be honest, with how tanky the mutants are, it is nothing but a chore to play unmodded game. What brought me to GAMMA was the fact that a gunfight can end with two or three bullets. Either in your body or the enemy's. There is nothing hard in killing a mutant with several mags after ten failed attempts.

You can try the lite version, it works better than vanilla spawns and doesn't affect performance from my experience

For me, any GAMMA-induced fear of bloodsuckers died when they allowed the player to kill one in a silly fight during the prologue. I was also puzzled that they decide to make S2's bloodsuckers announce themselves coming louder than Sasha Grey.

I noticed there is no mutant attack diversity. all the mutants have essentially the same attacks and ai.

Large mutants like the boar, flesh, chimera, and bloodsucker all have an attack that knocks you to the ground and they attack you while you are there, they will hit and run, all have a kangaroo hop attack, especially the flesh.

the small mutants like dogs, psi dogs, cats, rats etc all hit you and run a way then come back to attack again, and all of them have an attack where they bite you multiple times in the ankle.

It's all essentially the same and no defining differences.

THE most anoying thing for me is that you can not run the game without some kind of upscaling method. Because if you do the game Is to freaking crisp and without tweaking the Engine.INI you have massive problems with foliage. even after that it looks weird but I want a sharp image and not a blurry mess from uspcaling.
