HMG and Quasar launcher

we love AMD fluid frames
the quasar can take down dropships 
I love how the new HMG and Quasar are introduced as being for the automaton front. However, they are mostly useful on the terminid front.
The Quasar seems to just phase through the automatons half the fucking time, dealing no damage 
And the HMG i have yet to find a use for the MG-43 can't handle.
It can sort of pen the automaton walkers, if you can fucking hit them with enough bullets.
Against bugs you can use it as a rapid fire slugger.

I had a super heated extract the other day where both a teammate and I were running AC, heavy cunts pour in and I run up and act as loader for his gun. As soon as that boy realized that he had infinite ammo, he tore them to shreds 
As soon as we discovered you can team reload no matter the (stationary) stance, our survivability rate sky-rocketed
Reloading the AC while prone looks goofy af
But if it means the bullets go OVER us, so be it
It is bit of a hassle using team weapons in public lobbies tho, at least for me.
Even when i actively offer to carry the ammo, i either get ignored or they cite "What if you die a gazillion meters away?"

*Disclaimer, do not glue yourself to the gunners hands.
I have seen a lot of calls for people being able to assist the gunner by using the gunner's backpack instead of having to wear it themselves.
Take the Recoilless for example, if you split the gun and ammo then you can't reload on your own. This is why it currently works best if two people use the same weapon and then just assist if they are close during the fight.
If you could carry just one single Recoilless reload without the backpack, then I would be much more willing to part with the backpack.

What is the main "perk" to it
MG sentry uses less ammo per bug, since it is more accurate and wastes less when turning from one target to the next.
In essence, the Gatling holds its own for a sort time while the MG assists a diver for a longer time.
Mostly though, the Gatling is just better 80% of the time.

its diff 5, 3 small outposts left, bots, and we are passing by extract
i pass a rock to an open ice lake, see a patrol to the left, i start dealing with it since its so close it already saw me and is shooting
but then to the right of that patrol in this open ice lake that i already looked over the entire thing and saw the 1 patrol, another one spawned 15 meters from me and saw me
as soon as i look away

patrols still spawn RIGHT on top of you and sometimes in a place that you just looked over and saw nothing, but are there when you look back

It also works very nice when you do a "coordinated takedown" with someone who uses another launcher of any type 
sniping jammers with it is just 
Imagine they implement a pixel perfect soft spot near the ass region where you can one shot it
Run trivial missions until you find a poi with 2 SC spawns, even better if you find multiple places next to each other that you can hit in quick succession.
Look at the map to figure out where the goods are, quit the game (don't leave mission) then boot the game and select the same mission, drop on the poi with the money. Rinse and repeat.
Boring but the fastest way to grind SC, if you find a good one it is roughly equal to saving 10 USD every hour compared to using real money.
best i had was 7 drops of sc per mission

It's not very good at dealing with threats on it's own

I tried the quasar gun for the first time, I liked it
Quasar is cool
The only real issue I have with it is that it doesn't fire often enough for it to be a multipurpose weapon

Ok, one could argue that we already have access to Tibit, as we technically have them surrounded
But since we don't, then it's clear that it's not how supply lines go
It's clear that we need Ubanea to attack Tibit
And Ubanea only gets unlocked when we have Draupnir
Another thing that is worth noting is that we have already shown that we can't defend against Automatons 
"won't" is more likely than "can't" because of the shitty rescue mission that AH never fixed
People probably still don't want to defend based on the previous defense ops experiences
However
As stated previously
There were two choices that would allow us to push further
And we did neither of them
We either had to defend Draupnir, slowing the push on Ubanea but securing the supply line
Or push Ubanea with all we have
We have enough people on Automaton front to do either of those, but not both
If people from Terminid front would come to help us, we could maybe both defend and push
But this is a maybe
The safest choice was to defend
But we got hit with a major case of a tunnel vision

It's impossible unless literally everyone shifts towards Draup
and then literally everyone pushes Urbanea and Tib
If we retake Draupnir fast enough, we'll still have some leftover liberation % on Ubanea
We basically need to shit out a 10% or higher liberation rate
The offensive on the Creek is affectings Arrowhead narrative
