she got abandoned and was too late for treatment. one eye is gone and the other is half covered by her internal eyelid that fuse with the eye + the infection ruined that eye so she does see some stuff but has no idea of distance between objects and sometimes when she runs inside the house might crash against a door or a wall

she only goes outside with me 1 hours x day or 2 when i can for the rest she is inside the house. i clean her ears and "wash" her, clean the eye when gets dirty and like every 4-5 months i bring her to the vet. she is some rare breed mixed with some other race. that's why she got abandoned. those who did probably used the mother to make her do babies to sell. but for sure these guys keep these animals in trash conditions and when they get sick they abandon them so they don't have to pay for cure

yep i do run like an unofficial colony. me and a neighbor on my street call capturers to take the females and sterelize them, then we do with males. unfortunately you can't catch them all and some disappear or die. we feed them and the guy has a garage where they go in winter. but she gets along with all cats except for one. she doesn't play with them tho, just looks at them and they sniff each other. she only feels confident to play with me and wrestle with my arm, usually scratching and biting

I suppose I need to decide if I should have her breed with the male I have. 5 years is around the point when they are nearly done being able to have fertile eggs. I'm not sure though Reggie is nearly twice her weight and I'm worried he might hurt her. They can get rough when mating, also have no clue what I would do with baby geckos

When it comes to reptiles Leopards are the easiest, but they do need care and a proper enclosure

It should have a warm and dry side as well as a cool and damp side. Not too damp and not too dry. I have an automatic misting system, but you can make due with a spray bottle twice a day. And make sure they have. Sheltered spots on both side they can curl up in. I feed them roughly 15 large crickets a week depending on the size. You don't want to over feed them, but I prefer keeping them slightly overweight just in case they decide to stop eating for awhile which does happen sometimes.

When it comes to substrate I personally don't trust any form of it. I've seen lizard die of compaction from nearly every one I've had Chloe for almost 5 years on paper towel, mabey abit of moss for them to nest in their hide.
