Hey everyone, it’s Iceasaurus. I’m posting this because I don’t know what else to do. My little baby Jilly (12) is about to be put down in 2 hours. For the past few weeks, Jilly’s health has been deteriorating due to Lymphoma cancer. We’ve been trying to give her steroids to fight the cancer, but she refuses to take it. She hasn’t eaten in days and I feel so helpless.I don’t know what to do after she’s gone. I thought that after I got my license, I could get a job and go to college while seeing her everyday when I get back. I feel so lost and hopeless and I feel like we should’ve seen the signs sooner. I’m so sorry Jilly, for not seeing the signs. I’m sorry for not being there for you. I just hope that you can finally be at peace. I’m going to miss you so much.

Cat have more lives than we think, when my kitty was gone being super young (2yo) because of inoperable kidney sickness I was very frustrated but we decided to adopt a new kitten, found newborn giveaways on the internet, happened that it was some 100m from me, some small kittens who were born about the same time my cat was gone were proposed to take care of, I took one but he cried, then I took another baby and she was instantly comforted and licked my finger, was never nervous. I’m not a religious person but coincidences lead me with a new kitten who instantly accepted me.
Their lifespan is small compare to human but what we can do is to give them comfort and happy life. Consider taking another, bud. ❤️

Madagascar hissing cockroaches. Average of 2 years in captivity, but people say they have lived up to 5 years. I got them from where it was being sold as lizard food. So don't know how long they'll life under my care since they were near adults already.
