I need someone to give me a detailed explanation to how overpressure works, specifically on medium and heavy tanks that are not open-top. The stuff I found on the internet basically states that if the shrapnel from the explosion penetrates armor the game just assumes that the explosion gets inside the tank and I die, which is fair. But then something like the attached clip happens and I struggle to understand why the game decided to off me if my armor clearly stopped the explosion.

Penetration is counted when the armor is thinner than HE max pen regardless of what angle you hit - as long as it detonates
