Hey! Now something you should know is that this server is extremely difficult for starting nations, there is a very steep learning curve as well as an economic one, plus you want to start it alone. Now my advice to newfriends is always join a nation which you already did 2 days ago when you first joined the server and spawned in SPQR, I introduced you to some of the mechanics of civ and you joined us.
If you truly want to establish your own nation, you should still be part of a larger nation before doing so, learn more about how civ works and after a time if you manage to get a group of people who will establish a new nation with you then you should go and start developing it. But if you start alone and new in the server you will soon find out why newfriend nations have a half life of a few weeks.
