Hi all! Thanks to a generous donation from asgeir, I'm now able to up the prize money for the December photography contest! Each of the two prizes will now be 50 diamonds, not 10.
Furthermore, I extended the deadline for contest photography submissions to Dec. 27 at 12:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. UTC).
If you'd like the participate in this contest, keep reading!
How to participate:
- DM @rugged flare your in-game name and up to three in-game screenshots** (Screenshots that are NOT taken in-game will NOT be accepted).** You can choose to submit fewer than three screenshots, but submitting three gives you the most opportunities to win the contest
- Title and caption each screenshot you submit (Screenshots that are NOT titled and captioned will NOT be accepted)
Rules:
- The photographs must be of something in the CivMC Minecraft server.
- The photographs must be taken from your in-game POV.
Toward the end of the month, Diamond Chronicler readers will be able to vote on which photograph they think is the best. The photograph that wins will become the Readers' Choice Photograph, and whoever took the screenshot will be rewarded 50 diamonds and a cool role (Readers' Choice Photographer).

long long story short: nalora was the only active state that is still in the IF after secession, out of 3 remaining states and they basically contributed a lot to the IF + steered IF’s futures to where we are now (Potato_Duke played a major role as chancellor also)

IMPERIAL FEDERATION - The Senate in a 21-1 vote confirmed RealityTheory as vice chancellor on Friday.
RealityTheory will serve the remainder of former Vice Chancellor MayaaFox’s term, which is set to expire March 29. IMPERIAL FEDERATION - OldEraStory announced Sunday to I.F. citizens that she had resigned as chancellor and appointed Vice Chancellor RealityTheory to succeed her, though an ongoing vote in the Senate must pass first in order to approve RealityTheory’s chancellorship.
Asked why she resigned, OldEraStory pointed to statements she had given The Diamond Chronicler on March 8, in which she said, “Generally, I have had to deal with issues on the state and federal level that people are refusing to solve, compromise [on], or take action [on]. I have not been necessarily harassed, but I have not been treated well.”

With their departure, Duke Shadowvdark is set to become Hithtol’s main leading official.
HITHTOL, Imperial Federation - Hithtol’s most prominent officials—Queen Harmony0708, Queen jiinxies and Sen. ShelfZombie—left every CivMC Discord server besides their state’s on Thursday after Harmony0708 had restarted Senate negotiations for Hithtol’s secession from the I.F.
According to Hithtol Duke Shadowvdark, Harmony0708 told him he’ll become the state’s “sole proprietor/king.”
“[I]f Hithtol on CivMC continues, in any form, it will have a new discord eventually,” Shadowvdark added. “For now I’ll deal in IF channels and dms.”
Shadowvdark also said that, as far as he understands it, Hithtol’s leadership besides him is leaving CivMC for good, which Vice Chancellor opriva told The Diamond Chronicler was true.
Shadowvdark added that he’s not sure what plans he has for Hithtol.
“I'm quite busy these days IRL so it’s hard for me to commit to anything Civ-wise,” the duke added.
