In that 3 Layers are the Main component from GoLoco and to make sure it works as intended they was added. (And i think MA needed them at the time the update was released)
They are probably in the most cases not needed but like some other products there is no guarantee if other stuff will interferes with GoLoco.

i know that the Awtter has some problems with the default prefab xD
