#Feet in the floor, need help achieving solution

My avatar's feet are in the floor and I know a solution is to make the idle raise the model a bit more, this also might be because VRChat is calculating the Y level of the avatar off the armature alone, which may be raised above the bottom of the feet.

Where/how can I modify the idle animation using GoGo Loco?

is it only for the Idle Animation or even if you walk?

then i would go in the Avatar Configuration and select the Hip and drag your avatar over the Ground ^^
VRChat uses the First Bone as Offset (Mostly the Armature) that should be on Position 0,0,0
Next bone would be the Hip and you select it and Drag the Avatar over the ground and hit Apply.
that should fix it

I tried that, but it didn't do anything
Would I need to reconstruct my avatar?

#

In the config it's well above the ground

so did you drag your avatar on the Hip over the ground or on an other Bone?

I'm not sure

Would I need to reimport the FBX?

nope.
if oyu have your first Bones.
select the Armature and look if its on Position 0 , 0 , 0
If not then set it to the value (Rotation and Scale can be different)

#

then you select the next Main bone (mostly the Hips) and drag the Avatar over the ground with it.

Let's see if that did the trick

It works! Thank you so much

like VRchat uses the First bone as Offset and if its not on 0 , 0 , 0 it can have pretty bad influence. (if your Armature Scale is 100 then its horrible)

Now he can walk normally
