Just as seen in title.

I've come across some games in which people deliberately bring gunners (especially usa) because they are mega cheap and have a semi auto rifle to push the front in later stages of the game and to then cap the line with some recruits in the rear.

What points is a gunner? Like 1? Why is a unit that cost one point stronger in a shootout than a unit that costs 3 points?

They literally come with better guns than US riflemen. Give them boltactions at least.

I also forgot to mention that they don't cost command points to call in.

If you want you just mix them up with some normal ai squads and you can just run over flanks

they should make infantry as good as gunners. its crazy that it cost so much but gunners are free and do better.

gunners in classic mode have next to no timer before you can even call in infantry squads

20 gunners can actively flank and surround 1 machine gunner. and not to mention use cover. they can easily kill him with volume of fire and in terms of manpower points. it is a beneficial trade. and the enemy is at a defecit.

the main thing is that i would limit the ability for non capturing infantry on their ability to jsut occupy buildings and capture territory

it kind of onctributes to the problem since people will jsut spam non combat inf at the end of the match and just occupy buildings
