After fully repairing the sherman it still wont move with error message "track damaged"
Tried restarting mission but same issue.

Yes, it's by scenario. You have to get other Sherman in village.

ok maybe the objective should be clearer. the fact that the fully repaired tank won't move still feels like a bug

it's not fully repaired - that black filling means component is beyond repair.
