Standing Lamp - Major Bug

So for a while i have been playing around and fell through the map. Normal kinda thing when you go in a place that's not really used or can build in. Then i found the lamps. The lamps + the hover upgrade enables your to use the lamp ( and more items or even just solo ) to no clip into walls and just build a plat form and walk wherever you need. Below screenshot is a basic application of this, but can also get you stuck if not careful getting into locked placed, or going ahead of the story-line. It can even break a save if not careful, so tread lightly

Just so you know, you can just use Windows+shift+s to use the build in screen snip tool for easy screen cropping. then use ctrl V to past it whever you like

Not everyone uses a computer so that isn’t necessarily a viable option.

Considering OP is using Steam, it does count in thsi case.

XBOX users can't take proper screenshots, only using external cameras, like on a phone.

Well technically we can, I’d just have no idea how to get that screenshot on another device, others could probably figure it out but to me it’s just easier to use a phone camera.

pretty sure you can just use the XBL app and any SS taken will be available for viewing on the phone though the app

So back on topic, anyone know if this bug is also on the Xbox, do I need to worry about triggering it by accident and failing out of my world? I really like using the lamps.

the TLDR is: this is caused by autocrouch! we are working on it. if you clip and build outside the game, we are not responsible if your save breaks lol

can you show me what you mean by the lamps causing it? like are you walking over them or?

I believe you may have misunderstood my message, I’ve never run into the bug, I was asking if it was possible to accidentally trigger it, I personally don’t know what triggers the bug I only know it involves lamps and hovering, I like placing lamps and I’m almost always hovering, I don’t want to fall out of my world because I accidentally triggered this bug. 😅
