Inserters occasionally REMOVE item from Thresher rather than INSERT item, thus jamming the machine. (see image) https://i.imgur.com/wbDBZHS.png
Only Kindlevine is being delivered to this machine, but the inserters often pull the seed OUT and jam the line.

Has been happening all morning on this setup (when my back's turned haha). I've switched to filtered inserters to see if that fixes it. Will report back.

Are you sure seeds arent ending up on your kindlevine belt somehow?
Because if they are, you are going to run into the same problem with filter inserters (where they will get blocked by seeds on the belt)

I've watched for a long time and no seeds are getting on the line. FYI I switched to Filtered inserters and the problem went away... I'm switching back to the base inserters to see if the issure returns.

on closer inspection, i realized that you meant the inserters were glitching even though they were not outputting items
although it's always good to check that your inserters are facing the right way, me and my friend made that mistake last night.

Ok, after an afternoon running I see it's user error - there's a belt splitter up stream that's letting in the occasional seed. Sorry for the confusion - Carry on!
