A plugin, which you can find on the Creator Store.

An easy visibility toggle for the GUI while editing in studio - doesn't affect the game itself, nor other users.

🔑 You can bind a key to the visibility toggle. Go to File > Advanced > Customize Shortcuts. Then search for "Toggle Dev Gui".
⚙️ Also allows for setting a default visibility state - applies every place open.

This plugin is easily accessible, as it sits right in the corner of your viewport, always being visible. This plugin also allows for setting a default enabled state when opening studio.

The default setting will reveal if you hover over the toggle for a bit.

That is true, but usually people aren't sitting in that specific tab.

And for some reason the built-in toggle doesn't indicate the true state when the property is manually changed lol.

If it sits in the corner of your viewport. Wouldnt that get in the way of your actual UI?

At that point I'd rather use the UI Visibility button. Its the same thing

It's extremely small and transparent.

It's an old Roblox feature too btw.

Yes, and it also provides an option for disabling the UI by default.

I dont see any reason why someone would want a shortcut for this, I mean how many times would you be toggling GUI off

Even then you can just click the other button, or select all guis and toggle off enabled

I would advice asking people for things and plugins they would use instead of just making one but this is a good start 😁

it would take longer getting the plugin to install (30-60 seconds) then if you just went to the tab and pressed the button (2-3.5 seconds)

Now you're exaggerating, as you're making it seem as if you have to install the plugin every time - if it was the most useful plugin ever, you wouldn't mention the installation process, right?
