animation problem

I when i run i want it to change the anim while its active
like when i equip a gun the anim will change to running with a gun

the scripts is too long

Ig u can play both anims at once but when the players has the gun, change the weigth of the run with a gun anim to 1 and the other one to 0.01

the problem is whem i update the animation it doesnt register

And when the players doesnt habe the gun change he weigth of the run with a gun anim to 0.01 and the other one to 1

it always uses the sams anim
