its been alive for like 5 minutes. Its also seesawing from 10 degrees list to 10 degrees left list. It took gpo 500 and also had a magazine explosion.

this is not unexpected, if enough of the ship remains alive it’ll keep floating i believe

I agree with the other comments that this is actually possible for the ship to continue to ship. However, I think there should be a level of damage where a ship will try and make safe harbour as a ship in this state isn't really going to continue to fight. That's not to say that it shouldn't defend itself, just have a little self preservation.

Not yet. But Heartland has Vigil Naval base & Ingus has Harmony Sands.

Look at the shapes / layouts. Harmony has a bit of a sheltered man made bay (grid Ef 43) & Vigil has piers (grid Ii 44 & Ii 45)

Oh and Heartland has a pier in grid Gc 65 and Clifline AB on Ingus has a lot of potential grid Fe 187
