The radial menu for aircraft controls is a welcome addition, so I suggest taking the same mechanics and applying it to weapon selection. (See image for rough mockup)

Crucially, this does not replace the current system, but acts as an option for players to use instead if they prefer.

As the local controller peon, high-complexity loadouts like a GP Ifrit load w/ five different weapons, let alone Ibis that also has a hook, get real obnoxious real quick. This'd solve it right there

What about using shooter games' selection with numbers on top of the keyboard ?

Kinda unrelated, but maybe with the new radial menus some gamepad buttons could be freed for the airbrake, so it becomes separate from the throttle for all of us. The more immediate control of the plane we have the better.

As you already know, we will implement radial menus for various actions.
We may expand the current feature to cover other functionalities, so that will open up many more actions with minimum keybinds and provide more flexibility for all players.
