the guns do brrt. if you have a low framerate it can make the sound choppy

ngl i think the gun sounds currently are pretty good as is

that being said, ironically i think the guns that “need” their sounds reworked are the non-gatling guns, the fritter and the crickets guns in particular.

but even then, i think theyre fine as is tbh for a while

I guess what I’m trying to say is they are really repetitive. Like, no variety at all and it sounds boring within the first week you play

The guns that are unique sound differently from each other, and considering only two aircraft share an internal gun to my knowledge, and three/four share a gunpod, not a particularly repetitive soundscape, especially given how infrequently those gun pods are used.

For example, the compass 25mm gun pods. They don’t even sound realistic, no pop, that is one that really needs a revamp.

They sound fine given the fact they have so many individual guns going off due to how many guns are sync'd up, I don't really hear an issue with it while in my Tarantula.

i mean… its not that far off from the compass when you consider the muffling caused by hearing protection, noise insulation, and extra in-cockpit noise such as the engine rumble

coming back to this, in comparison having gone back and tried out the compass’ gunpod again, and yeah ngl this isnt a big deal imo, can it sound better? sure. but it sounds fine to me as is and it already will likely be getting a remastered sound with it being likely featured/included on the CasCraft
idk i just dont rlly think its a big deal, imo the kinda arcadey sound fits with the visual style

Rn the only sound i think needs a "remix" is the compass 25mm, not a remix really but an extention cause its too easy to hear the loop

real world rotary cannons don't have any windup iirc, they just instantly start firing
