Literally just this for:
Compass (!) - inner pylons only
The new CAS (!) - possibly 2 sets of pylons at once
Medusa (!) - inner pylons >> would be nice if someday Medusa could receive some loadout options more suitable for medium attack role (like Intruder) that would, in exchange, give up some of the extended EW capabilities

Cricket (?) - would need shorter version, only allowing what fit's into half the capacity listed below

Capacity:

  • 4x PAB-125 / 4x PAB-80LR / 4x AGM-48 / 2xIRM-S2 / 1x MMR-S3 / 1x PAB-250
  • flare dispenser for additional 18 or 24 flares per pylon and / or chaff if introduced
  • would add weight and drag for the munitions AND the pylon atop

I find this unsuitable tor Ifrit or Vortex though as long as we don't go in a way of introducing "Strike Ifrit" variant.

this would be op af and breaks all the balancing

I don't see it being all that broken TBH, a little extra survivability for the low tier aircraft to keep them relevant in the late game

#

The only one I don't think needs/should have CCPs is the Medusa, it's already quite survivable when flown by an even slightly competent pilot. Compass and Cricket however would benefit very well from them

imo i dont think itd be very broken, but also i dont think the compass needs more rn, id be fine with cricket, CAS1, and the dusa, but the compass is already overpicked there’s no reason to push its serviceability further

Why the Medusa? It’s already the most survivable aircraft in the game by far, I don’t think it needs any more flares when it already has more than any other fixed wing aside from the Darkreach

it fits its role of a long loitering support aircraft

it would be more unrealistic to ignore the existence of this kind of utility and expecting it not be integrated into future combat platforms on mass.
