#Additional hardpoints and weapons for them

iirc AGM48s aren't rated for being carried on supersonic aircraft, that's why they aren't on fighters. something that was brought up in the #1385468478865018942 thread is an improved, supersonic-capable missile of similar role and quantity as the 48, which i definitely would like to see
current weapon quantity enough for now. Sometimes even too much.
Current weapons quantity perfectly high. It give one player make destruction if several AA together. Just imagine, one player can destroy almost all AA on large base. Don't worry its enough quantities.
Which weapons could be more? Maybe pab 125 for external pods on ifrit and vortex (3x per pod) at least on vortex, because for ifrit maximum quantity of bombs will be 24 what a lot I think...
ATP 1 is special weapon for chicane.
What lack... Lack double agm48 pods for cricket for middle intensity battles. Lack AGM68 for ibis pods(in could be really useful sometimes). Lack autocanon drones for ibis. Lack additional units for tara as small spaag, clearly missile AA unit with 6 AA missiles, something stationary defense systems (idk what exactly) drones for tara. Lack tiny apc for ibis. Lack some naval units for tara and ibis. Lack new cruise missile (agm99 N for example or alm C 1500) with tactical warhead(1.5-5kt).
imo pablos fill that exact role
you get the same quantity and they get a decent turn radius, with a better damage output
agility and quantity are 48's main redeeming factors
what vortex needs is a small internal short range, air to ground missile for stealth attacks
preferably with a very good acceleration
Because I've found that it doesn't have anything for shooting from the edge of radar detection range (8km) or popping up above hills.
Bombs exist, however those can't reach a boltstrike before you do, therefore you must turn around after dropping.
i would disagree quite heavily. relatively speed-independent launching capability, terrain avoidance, and its evasive pattern are all things that are quite key to the AGM48's effectiveness imo
the internal short-ranged AGM could be one and the same with the proposed 'AGM48 plus', having the ability to be internal or external would be handy
I'd personally prefer a special internal kingpin launcher
maybe as a vortex exclusive
ehh, kingpins don't have too great maneuverability, and laser-guided is a very significant limitation. not great for popup attacks when you don't want to be exposed to defences for long
irm ones instead?
I don't think my ideas through, I forget that this sim has limited weapons and even they have limitations
imo just making them internal would be fine, hell the F35C has been recently approved to use the hellfire
Probably wouldn't work well for the FS-20 model, but could certainly be pursued for other designs! Personally I'd go for the lynchpins in a dedicated bay over the kingpins simply for volume of fire
lynchpins aren't rated for supersonic launches iirc
Sure, but when strafing ground targets with a belly mounted bay you're probably not going to be going supersonic regardless
iirc it's the lynchpin pod that's the issue, not the rocket itself. a differently-designed internal pod might not have the issues
