Currently I do these strikes in the Compass. Keep it under 65ft, pre-plan your route to make use of terrain, and bring some extra 48s to do any required DEAD on the way.
I'm all for more planes I just don't know what this would bring that we can't already do.

Hopefully that’s what the Supersonic Bomber will turn out to be

The idea of a bomber (or any aircraft for that matter) being geared towards low altitude strikes has fallen out of favor and wouldn't make much sense in the 2070s
The Air Force no longer allows the B1 to fly below 5000ft due to the threat environment heavily punishing anything that dares fly low (also because of airframe fatigue)
There's a reason no nation is developing an aircraft meant to fly low for penetration strikes and it's because it's never been a less survivable tactic as it is now

I see. Well, this is out of my hands. You win.

You can use anything for low altitude strikes if you really wanted to, I was talking about how an aircraft meant specifically for such strikes isnt a good idea

# timber mesa then why are we getting a dedicated CAS plane when we can already do these in an...

No offence taken 🙂
I thought the idea behind the Cricket & Chicane were to provide Close Air Support. I would guess that the dedicated CAS plane will be so one team has the Cricket & the other the new plane. Perhaps the same will be said for the supersonic bomber? One side getting the new bomber while the other uses the Darkreach.
As starrie says you can use anything for low altitude strikes. I like the Compass for it, others have their preferences.
