If a friendly aircraft or any munition is carrying a nuclear warhead a small yellow ☢ symbol should be placed on top of their existing icon, and bombs could get a possible trajectory icon on the map in the form of a crosshair or X where the munition is likely to land.

When targeted, since the unit icon turns yellow, if friendly the ☢ should turn blue for contrast, and vice versa (red) for enemy icons.

#

The icon should have the symbol in the place of the laser designated icon if the target is viewed normally and not from the map.

Could even have a prefix number to indicate how many warheads they sortied with- [2☢️] for example

i really like how the qol mod makes the icons for nukes on the map way bigger

Theres been situations where I see a trio of missiles high up near an aircraft and think, "eh, must be stratos".
One minuite later I notice a lack of our carrier group

I would agree, under most circumstances, but like. That's one of the huge advantages to nuclear weapons. Until it goes off you won't know.

In my potentially controversial opinion, it's generally better to assume that (with nuclear weapons cleared for use) any aircraft heading towards a valuable target is armed with them.

there should be an indication for friendly nukes, but not for enemy nukes

Maybe even with a team vote option to ban a specific guy from using them if they're irresponsibly wasting team warheads.

how do you know that enemy aircraft have nukes inside
aircraft no, munition yes

the suggestion specifies friendly aircraft

digital spade

It specifies friendly aircraft and anyone's munitions

If you can check for the type of a weapon using the map it should automatically show it

In other words, I disagree with "anyone's munitions" assuming you mean already launched, in-air ordnance.

I don't think they should be indicated in that way.

Even for friendly more nope than yes. Because griefers could kill people who carry nukes.

In any case this is very good idea, we should test it

That would be solved by better systems to punish griefing than nerfing other systems

If griefers are gonna teamkill they're gonna attack anyone they see
