all bombs in game are thermonuclear actually, the gpo-n is based on the B61 which is a real world thermonuclear weapon, not to mention the yield of 250kt in such a small package implies a thermonuclear component, and the 20kt cruise missile is likely thermonuclear in nature since id imagine the 20kt yield is just a low variable yield setting for a potential larger warhead. the w80 for real world cruise missiles has a max yield of 105 kt i believe

plenty of thermonuclear bombs have yields in the range of kilotons, and one real world thermonuclear bomb (the w82 artillery shell) had a maximum yield of 2 kilotons iirc
actually, every nuke currently in the US arsenal is thermonuclear, and only one has a yield of over a megaton, and even that one is on the verge of getting retired
