Super Compass

I believe there is a real need and in-lore justification for the Compass getting a Super Compass evolution of it.

So the concept isn't new per se, but I believe the concept makes a lot of sense.

If in lore, PALA has recently become super advanced, I think it makes sense for the Super Compass to be an intermediate development. It will share the same general airframe with the Compass, but it will be distinct enough to be it's own aircraft.

-afterburning engines
-more payload
-bigger wingspan
-more armament choices
-variable sweep wings (not necessarily married to this one, but want something to make the super Compass distinct)
-not quite as good as the revoker -available at level 2

It would fill a gap that PALA currently has, and it would help with mid-rank hell where you don't have enough for the Ifrit, and you're being outclassed by your teammates so you can't make enough impact with your Compass to rank up/save up.

Of course, some of this goes into my thread regarding a Gen 4.5 fighter and another members post regarding rank rebalance. Both which would admittedly be better options... but I did want to suggest this as to why I think this is a valid route.

I imagined a super Compass as a Compass with bigger wings to carry more stuff and not much more.
maybe a 10% engine thrust uprate to compensate a little

The super Hornet has very little in common with the hornet, the naming scheme was designed to make the cost better perceived by congress

they have the aerodynamically shitass rotated pylons because they didnt wanna remake then wing
still looks closer to a hornet than a compass to a super compass looking like a f-14, totally different plane, role and everything

The swing wing is definitely a bit of a reach for a redesign

i find giving it afterburners a bit weird too because a supersonic plane will be built very different from a subsonic one
