Super sonic mobile command center

A large Super sonic stealth mobile command center. Features: It would allow you to tell ground, naval, air, units to fire, fire at will, stop firing, and it would let you tell them to target specific targets, also it would allow you to tell aircraft carriers to deploy any aircraft you want and what loadout they should use, (also it could maybe tell aircraft to give you a escourt or tell aircraft to give darkreaches a escourt but it would probably be too complex) Design: It would either be like the XB-70 valkyrie or something else im still not sure what it would look like.

I will say, I dig the idea, but you can already tell units to move manually

It could probably tell stationary missle stations to fire at any where you want also there would have to be a vote if someone can use it since it would probably be around 400-500 million and someone could abuse it to ruin a match in multiplayer, and it might be able to carry 1 or 2 nuclear cruise missles

Yep! If you go on the map and select a friendly unit that can move you can tell them to move to somewhere you select by then clicking right mouse. This is super useful for stuff like carriers and other ships as you can have them hold position (unless they are pre coded to move somewhere) and then take up defensive postures.

Oh I guess the aircraft would be more for advanced stuff such as stop firing, firing, fire at will, and other stuff also missle stations and dark reaches to fire at a at a chosen point

What do you mean Medusa is built for electronic warfare not commanding units?

They could add a commander mode similar to battlefield 4 maybe? Not to hijack your idea, but that could allow for stuff such as destroyer cruise missile targeting and like you said, specific aircraft launching and directing.

There is very good self defense abilities. There is exist space for commanding... Why not?

I think this is not perfect idea right now.
Maximum will have sense if devs add rts mode or etc... and this is somewhere in the ending developmentv

True but a special aircraft would be cooler but 400 million would probably be alot so it would probably be better to have 1 flying at a time and in multiplayer have a vote so at the start of the match there could be one but that might be a bit complex.

I won’t lie I wasn’t vibing with it to start but the thought of letting someone target the destroyers missiles or decide what planes to launch is actually pretty sick. My only hold up is on how it would work as far as a plane design

Yeah I was thinking of ether a design like the XB-70 like the image in the original post but also something like the presidents plane would be cool but wouldn’t really fit the game

This idea just not for close implementation for current game state.
Maybe in far future... But you still can tell devs why this idea have sense, and why this idea have sense to implement, and why this idea probably will be have some limitations and etc

Absolutely yes. Maybe not now. But in close future.
They are add most good ideas from forum to implement and just read all to know which current gameplay experience, which bugs, how to improve and etc.
This is one right way to develop games

I think that the easiest way to make the system work the best would be to make it a mode that looks similar to the tacmap that gives you the ability to make decisions. Rather than a plane.
I love the idea of it being a plane but for the price and the difficulty to pull it off in that way would make it a very hard thing to balance. But the meat of this idea is pretty cool.

True but I wouldn’t be surprised if they do what bagel said about battlefield 4 commander

But if it’s implemented like battlefield 4 commander view, it might be boring sometimes with not flying a plane in well a plane game

If I’m being honest I wouldn’t be surprised if you haven’t hit the nail on the head and that they may be thinking along the lines of commanding units better at some point. Because the fact that they included the ability to direct units at all shows that they have thought about it.

And that’s true as in bf4 it is a bit boring. But that’s also why bf4 let you manually launch the cruise missile. And I think having it be like that for the destroyer missiles would be cool

True and it would be better in a larger more chaotic public server so people wouldn’t be able to just steer units away from airfields and other important things if it at least had a voting system to make someone commander and make someone not commander

I will say, I almost always play solo so it may be different in multiplayer. But in solo you can direct them.

Also if they added a mobile command center they could balance it by making it so you can only command targets in a radius making it so you can tell 3 mobile ICBM missle launcher to go a mile from a airbase and firing

you're right when you say its not purpose built, but what else are you gonna do when you're job is to stare at the map and jam things lol. you oughta take command of the fleet and ground forces while you're at it. Like an AWACS does irl
