For when we need to step up our tech level.
The Chinese prototypes spotted recently can be taken as inspiration. They would also add "design diversity" to the game.
With those, we'd have something unique-looking from East Asia as well.

Features.
-Extremely low IR and R signatures
-3D thrust vectoring
-Ridiculous thrust
-Datalink Jammer

Optionals (aka I'm not sure it needs those):
-60Kw defensive laser
-Synthetic vision (cameras and screens instead of glass canopy)
-Munition interceptor micro-missiles / micro-drones
-Adaptive flight-suit which increases pilot G tolerance

tbh we currently only have 4th and maybe 5th gen fighters considering they all have missiles and stealth isn't real considering I've been sniped by shard's on the runway because of datalink from a truck on the other side of the fricking map so it would be nice to actulaay get some 5th gen fighter supposing it's meant to be a futuristic game (Medusa def is one), like lasar, railgun or emp based weaponry would be nice

Generally 6th gen traits are these:
Can be unmanned, AI autonomy, advanced multi-spectral stealth, hypersonic speed, directed energy weapons, hypersonic missiles.

This is more of a guideline than a requirement though.

6th gen for an aircraft itself is really just a new level of radar and ir stealth compared to the last gen (order of magnitude is what many people refer to that increase as) plus super cruise +1.5M or hypersonic, advanced datalink, drone control and/or autonomous mode, lack of tail fins (this is apparently important for thr u.s., china, and india??), pylon support for basically everything, and large onboard power generation

optionally probably also has directed energy, ai integration, etc although these could just be addons

i don't think hypersonic speed should be a prerequisite. fighter aircraft have sorta been getting slower since 4th-gen. f-15 was mach 2.5, f-22's mach 2.2. f-14 was ~mach 2.3, f/a-18 legacy hornet's mach 1.8, super hornet's mach 1.6, f-16's mach 2, f-35's mach 1.6, etc etc. even if speed's re-prioritized for 6th-gen it just isn't really feasible to be stealthy above like mach 3 or something, because of shock heating increasing thermal signature and most RAM being apparently not too good with heat tolerance

the other stuff is fair though

To me, 6th gen will be whatever wipes the floor with 5th gen planes.
Easy as that.

If it can go like 1v6 or 1v10 and win vs 5th gen, that's 6th gen.

you say that but the two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive, especially if you look at the best ace combat (3) with stuff like the XFA-36 or the R-352 (i know it's a space shuttle shut up).
