Dogfight Practice: Added a small forward strip and helipad in order to reduce travel time for slower aircraft and in preparation for the VTOL fighter.

Operation Endgame - BETA RELEASE

BETA RELEASE - Not fully tested, may contain mission breaking bugs.

Please report any issues here or on the Steam page, it is very much appreciated.

Operation Endgame is the final chapter of the Primevan Campaign. As an ARC pilot, you will take part in the largest battle of the war. With its carrier strike group positioned in the northeastern waters, ARC is launching a full-scale invasion to crush the BDF and occupy the Boscali Archipelago once and for all.

The islands are blockaded and cut off from outside support. After the "BDF" detonated a nuclear device on Agrapo, public opinion across ARC member states shifted, giving leadership the green light for total war. Now, ARC fleets and ground forces are mobilised for a decisive final assault.

The BDF, battered but determined, has fortified the islands and will fight to the last man. Meanwhile, the PRF, on the verge of collapse after the events of Operation Crossfire, is providing limited support to ARC forces.

Your mission: secure air superiority, support ARC ground forces, and strike the final blow to the BDF’s command. Victory here will decide the fate of the archipelago as well as affect things far beyond the islands' borders.

I tried this mission last night and ran into a few glitches. Early on with the first obj and taking the main airfield some units were glitched below the terrain. The bigger glitch was that about 120km south of Port Maria there are a bunch of ground units in the air that are part of the liberation obj. This made the mission unplayable. Not sure if this was a glitch though as I only have played it 1 time though. I did try to take screenshots and can try to find/upload them if u want

In this campaign at least, you are generally on the canonically more powerful side in each mission (other than the Siege of Agrapol). Really the only mission that is really stacked against players currently is Total Escalation, which of course is not part of this specific campaign.

**Absolute Escalation: **Pushed a quick fix for two Revokers that were crashing during the final objective and damaging the mountain base. Couldn't wait for the assault carrier release to fix it so this is just a very tiny bandaid 🙂

feedback for Total Escalation: the final objective spawns a big fleet, but you pretty much just don't interact with the fleet in almost all cases due to the fact that it's just easier to take out the bunker straight away

only time i've actually seen the fleet attacked notably is when the whole lobby decided that we wanted to kill it after we won the mission already by taking out the bunker

enemy air resistance also tails off a lot towards the lategame, which can be a little boring

yeah, i know you don't need to take it out, it just feels a bit... pointless, for lack of a better word? like, there's this big fleet, that spawns at the final hurdle, so you sorta think that it's going to be a big battle with the fleet defending the bunker so you have to clear out boats, but then you instead just stomp the bunker without ever interacting with the fleet

idk, it's not too big of a deal, it just feels like a bit of wasted potential especially given how relatively easy the bunker is to take out after dealing with north boscali

Prologue: Siege of Agrapol
I've made several changes that should drastically increase performance compared to earlier versions as well as quite a few changes to the AI patching and fixed a few things here and there. I'm quite happy where this one is at right now and I can release it since the sf1 and assault carrier are not included in this specific mission. Enjoy!

I've partnered with @tribal cave and @timber dock 's ATF to exclusively populate a PvE focused dedicated server with many of my large-scale missions.

This has been going on for a few weeks, but the goal is to release updates that will be held on the server first, then incorporate them into the Steam version of the missions as they are proven stable.

Currently, we're testing a few small changes to Total Escalation, which includes a new objective to capture a beached carrier before the BDF have time to recover it. As well as many small changes to balance and small performance tweaks.

hey guys, i'm trying the prologue of the campaign with a friend but we can't do anything

there's too much going on, when the game begins there's a bot that's placed exactly in the spot where the plane selection is so that if you select a plane it crashes on top of it, making a mess on the highway strip

then there's a boat spawnkilling the helicopter spawn

i don't really understand how are we supposed to play this

there's nearly not enough money to buy a single helicopter or plane once we're dead. In less than a couple minutes everything is overrun and all spawns are either destroyed or camped by enemies

I feel like the northen carrier fleet gets massacred way too fast in Operation Endgame
like you only get ~60 seconds to get in the air before the carrier is pulling a Kestrel

In one week (March 15), it will be the one-year anniversary of Total Escalation's Steam release. It's been quite the ride, I have definitely lost some of my drive to develop new missions, but I will always be happy with how the community has helped shape this mission (and all of my missions) into what they are today.

Thank you to everyone who has subscribed, liked, and given the mission awards. Seeing people enjoy my creations is why I made them in the first place. Thank you ❤️

Hey everyone, I'm creating an additional version, starting with Fleet Warfare, to build into "Ignus Escalation" PVP (and eventually PVE). What are all your current gripes with either Terminal control, the new map, etc.

So far, I am planning:

  • provide both sides with all assets, no fleet locking or limiting airframe factories, ground vehicles will have their faction specifics with the Anvil and Aerosentry being shared as well as all the non-specific vehicles.
  • The fleet will start similar to where it is in Fleet warfare
  • No one will start with control of the city, each side will start with a landing on their end of the main island
  • Planning many more capturable heli-bases on the main island as the convoys move toward the city
  • Replacing Cricket with Compass factories (Start rank 1, no one needs to be stuck in a Cricket on this map)

Gotta say, absolute escalation is my favorite mission in the game simply because of the initial assault. Taking off from the carrier while the dynamo slings missiles never gets old.

Ignus Domination is in a beta state and will release tomorrow if everything goes well. An escalation sized mission on the new map.

It's a testbed for:

  1. taking objectives away from large bases and instead spreading them out into the map. This will hopefully turn things into less of a slog.

The goal will be to push the enemy completely off of the main island and eliminate their infrastructure.

Each team starts at one side of the islands with most of their heavy ground forces further away. The city itself is largely undefended, as it was a DMZ, but I'm thinking about how to make that not need to be the case while keeping the city airport neutral.

Other things: crickets are out of the equation, you can still buy one of you want, but compass production should mean you are never trying to cross an ocean with only a cricket.

More expensive aircraft only have inventory, so losses will not be replaced by factories. Keep your Ifrit safe or you'll have to pay for it.

Great idea and definitely an improvement on terminal control in my opinion. One thing I’ve noticed is that friendly vehicles don’t capture the main Fledspar airport, they just kind of drive to the middle and form a big clump (I was playing as BDF, not yet sure if its specific to that)

like whatever the quantity of the fleet is currently, double it, that would take real teamwork, and coordination to take down, not a single AWACS medusa jamming the 2 destroyers and anything else important

I think that the current issue is that Dynamos are quite good at air defence generally but suffer from Medusas. Increasing Dynamos though would put so many more AShMs in the air it would be problematic. Shards seem to be innefective at fleet defence, but perhaps a few extra may help somewhat.

yeah, my main issue with that is that if i put too many it’ll clog up the hud. platforms don’t do that but they also break which isn’t good if i wanna try to make an impromptu highway field with a little bit of parking

Yeah, unfortunetly that Revoker is quite fickle, especially with how the AI prioritizes targets having changes between updates quite a bit

Dogfight Practice: receiving reports that the most recent update may have inadvertently changed loadout for the AI and they have been using missiles when selecting guns, etc. I'll look into this tonight and correct it.

I'll also look at other missions to ensure this doesn't affect them.

**Total Escalation: **Re-added the beached carrier optional objective. If you clear it of BDF forces, you can capture it for your side. If you wait too long, the BDF will get it floating again.

I was trying to set it up so you could just merge the .json code into existing missions but it has been giving me issues. I also have a blank map with just one prebuilt rig (not that it is that difficult to build, I just thought it would be neat for those not as confident with the editor if they wanted to use it).

I've done a pretty significant update for Total Escalation. The mission objectives themselves are the same, but there have been over 500 new objects, scenery, and props added.

  • The HLTs and all of the air defences for the PALA have been changed over to their MSV equivalents if available.
  • Both sides now have TBM sites that spawn in after a delay.
  • significant rebalancing for friendly air defences (generally increasing presence and effectiveness).
  • inclusion of Brawler factories
  • rebalancing spawn rates for ground units
  • new defensive positions
  • a new vehicle storage depot at "the farm" where several high end ground units can be found to redeploy.
  • reduced the bunker's air defence slightly, removed ammo boxes from it.
  • added dozens of 23mm guns on both sides. Flying low through terrain may lead to a nasty surprise.
  • tweaks to initial attacks

For Absolute Escalation, should the city civilians be changed? How can I encourage players to be careful inside the city and not just carpet bomb it to get the enemy out without them? It seems that while an interesting concept, it is generally easy to abuse and unfun.

@strange magnet Love your maps keep it up. I've done a little research and im tired of seeing the same maps on the rotation lists but apparently thats what's played the most.
