In real life, the LABS (Low Altitude Bombing System) includes various loft bombing modes—such as high-angle, medium-angle, and low-angle lofts—each offering different release profiles to effectively hit targets from up to 10 km away. In-game, implementing all LABS modes could enable similar functionality, supporting diverse release angles, speeds, and altitudes. For example, in a high-angle loft with a 60-degree release angle at Mach 1 from 50 meters above the target, you can achieve around 11 km of range.
It would be fantastic to have a feature where pressing a button would automate the necessary calculations for each LABS mode. The game could play a tone when it’s time to begin the climb and stop the tone at the precise release point, streamlining each LABS profile for efficient targeting.
This update could also integrate well with other targeting enhancements discussed in previous posts.
