In Nuclear Option controlling plane by mouse looks like direct-mode (or e-joystick) control, when player chooses the angles of controlling surfaces. Such control system is ok, but it's not quite comfortable to make small movement (in dogfights) or flying straight (because it's hard to find "zero point" of e-joystick)

I suggest adding an indirect mode, when player will choose direction, and the plain will adjust to it for itself.

(Yeah, basically it's mouse control mode from *Thunder game)

It's important- I am not suggesting to change existing system with new one.
I suggest adding both with option to choose one of them (in hangar, for example)

Such control mode:

  1. Will make dogfights more intense (because players would concentrate on enemy, not on plane control)
  2. Will make possible to flight straight for a long time (because plane will control roll)
  3. Such a control would be usual for players from another games, they will adapt to the game faster.

pretty sure the war thunder controls are copyrighted so NO can't copy them

this is kind of cheating, since your plane will do the flying for you, requiring no knowledge of the aircraft handling to fly it effectively, which i think is going against the sim aspect of flight in this game

the one thing i'd like is a cruising mode so i can watch yt while going 50 km's in a chicane, i dont wanna constantly check if im about to flip and crash into the nearby orphanage ocean

#

takes like ~15 minutes to do that so i'd rather not need to grip my hotas 24/7

#

(and would also give some useage to those 2 knobs on my throttle) (roll/yaw control in cruise mode)

In other aircraft maybe, chicane no

As I find it kinda fun to hug the ground while going over hills, and it will hit one if you aren't careful and walk away.

altitude hold could be useful to be honest

like its 2070 in the lore, so i feel like the autopilot systems wouldnt be lacking that much to not include alt hold + cruise control etc
