CARGO TRANSPORT TO MOVE VEHICLES AND INFANTRY

How about a cargo aircraft like the C-130 or the C-5M galaxy that can make tactical troop deployments into anywhere on the map. This would give another major dynamic to the game where some units can be deployed behind enemy lines to disrupt enemy positions. Could also be used for an invasion game mode. Where you’re only on a carrier strike group and you have to invade the islands.

This aircraft could potentially drop:
Tanks (x2)
IFVs (x2)
Recon trucks (x6)
Mobile AA. (X2)

This newer air unit can also result in a feature that allows resupplying of bases in the event of a base becoming completely encircled by enemy forces and cut off from regular supply. Or you can use this new air unit to blitz an enemy air base or remote Highway strip to get a foothold in a desired area. Lets discuss if this is even a viable idea to add to the game and how it can benefit or make gameplay more complex.

I do like these two concepts a lot though.

The vtol one could be a c-5 sized transport for tanks, and the CTOL one would make for a great base for a aerial tanker, land based AWACS, and probably a cheaper cargo plane too.

Now the C-130 did have basically a STOL option, even with heavy load...they strapped rockets to it and let her rip lol

Yeah, it would be stovl with a full load probably, but definitely vtol when empty

This would be larger than the proposed Vtol Quadrocopter. Similar in size or larger than the Darkreach bomber. I already knew about the new copter coming out. This was thought as a much larger strategic asset for a possible larger map.

Oh so you want something like a C-5M Super Galaxy (Long range strategic airlifter/transport to abide by suggestion rules). And yes, it would definitely need a larger map.

tbh even on the map we had it would be very useful as non-pilotable enemy/friendly aircraft for missions

also the model could be reused as a refueler
