Why would a corvette be diverted to move a tiny pickup with a gau 19 and IR sams when it could carry extra munitions, fuel, crew provisions, or parts
Even then that small door is probably for a small boat

I dont think a ddg would either, the entire purpose of moving land vehicles is the job of assault ships and LHDs

Yeah but what is a C17 gonna do in NO. Theyre slow, absolutely gigantic targets. You would NOT fly a C17 ANYWHERE in the current game

The thing is a C17 can only go airbase to airbase and airdropping units over the extremely super heavily contested airspace around the middle of the map would be impossible with such a huge sluggish plane. SARH would spam you to death or IRs would pelt you
The Tarantula is small enough and has the VTOL capabilities to take off quickly and land just about anywhere you could want and can also use its own weapons to defend itself or attack the enemy
