anti ship is coming soon
Proof?
On the right
Thanks!
for revorker cruise missle? Maybe only small... because it have small weapon bays. But if use in one time two internal bays for cruisle missle in Ifrit it could be good
Anti-ship cruise missile or standard AShM?
Idk if we know that yet

Sheesh. Man I'm hoping for that to come. I'd love fighter launched cruise missiles. May not be near as effective as the Darkreach's area saturation capabilities, but would still be great to have
Yea a SLAM-ER equivalent would be nice
Yes yes yes
And something something if it exists now it will exist in the future blah blah blah very long range fighter cruise missiles with programmable flight paths
actually please
Was going to make a suggestion forum about this today and in doing so realized this was still up from a little while back! Man. x2 standard cruise missiles for the Revoker and x4 for the Ifrit would be wonderful.
What reminded me were these images.
SLAM-ERs are fighter launched and they are very long ranged guided cruise missiles.
What would be cool is if you could set a series of waypoints for them
That could be an interesting concept by itself. Coordinate mapped cruise missiles. That would go craaazy with the 20kt cruise missile
where's this from
It's a pretty old image Mitch sent a while back
Yea I'd forgotten about that. I was hoping we'd see an anti-ship missile in the recent update, but I've said it a bunch before and I'll say it again: you can't rush perfection, haha
He said in a community stream that it was ready, and he just needed to make AI recognize ships as seperate from ground units
Also pablos. They could glide to a set altitude and then use waypoints to attempt to avoid SAMs
Hmmm. I'm not sure that glide bombs that cost so much less than the cruise missiles could or should feasibly do that in my opinion, just since the cruise missile already has the ability to follow terrain and change altitude/attitude when needed and has an engine to propel it, whereas the PAB-80LR is just a lighter and longer ranged JDAM.
I think the concept of coordinate mapping is really cool in general, but really doesn't seem feasible at all in the current game or anytime soon
True
Unless it somehow gains an engine and also ups pricing for the new version, I don't see how it can turn like that without nosediving into the ground
This could theoretically simply be an ARAD-116 but with a different seeker, GPS/Optical seeker, presumably
