If this jet is Compass, and not one cent or one kilometer per hour more expensive or faster, then it would make at least a little bit of sense. Well or for everything that is more expensive instead of repairing the hull, replacing optics, and etc. to give the opportunity only to plug a hole in the tanks. Engine and propeller (without sending it to the factory for repair) should be repairable only on turboprops, on helicopters it should be possible to repair only the engine, because in the field to repair the rotor is impossible
so haw it be posible to repair but only the fule tank and engien?
