i do that but i end up moving the map more than targeting the missile coming at me

You can kinda do this by holding the target select while aiming in the direction of a radar source, while an anti radar weapon is selected.
Note this will select ALL enemy radar sources in that general direction, not just ones pinging you. Unsure about missiles though

it works with missiles too, as long as you have an anti air missile/laser selected as a weapon

the main reason i asked for this feature was i cannot tell if i need to lock onto a radar source to jam it or not with the stock jammer in the compass and revoker
