Being able to dump fuel from Medusa would help a lot when landing VTOL style (especially with the radome attached). Also, afaik Medusa isn't getting a tail hook so it will have to land VTOL/STOL on the carrier pretty much always. It's not necessary for other planes but it wouldn't hurt having it either.

near empty darkreach is light as a feather, it has 27t of fuel. taking that to 5% reduces total weight to 64t. (90t full fuel)
