if car dies, replace the dead one
if vehicle holding position dies, new vehicle of the same type is spawned at the nearest depot, pathfinds as close as possible with roads, then drives straight (or pathfinds if possible) to dead vehicle's position
prevents bases from becoming completely undefended while still keeping losses in mind (vehicles are taken from inventory)

would integrate nicely with players investing in AI and having emplacements

Yeah this really needs to be a thing because once an airfield’s AA is striped, it’s completely vulnerable for the rest of the game

fixable by yourself and a bit of dedication each game, very fun to play ground commander. this would def be a nice feature though!

I find myself generally playing an RTS, now this is in my custom escalation, so it's a bit of a crazy mess... sending convoys, moving aa up, and making FOBs with ammo trucks. I think it could be a neat option in the creator to toggle something like "replace unit when destroyed" or something.

i often find myself making unkillable bases with like 10 aero sentries, boltstrikes and ir sams
