Here is the help article for Veinminer Settings

To change a setting, enter /veinminer settings <setting> <new-value>. To check the current state, leave out the new value argument.

Setting -> Default - Description

  • mustSneak -> false - Players must sneak to veinmine
  • cooldown -> 20 - Time between players are able to veinmine (in ticks)
  • delay -> 0 - Time between each automated block breaking (in ticks)
  • maxChain -> 100 - Max amount of blocks that can break from one source block
  • needCorrectTool -> true - If blocks have a required tool, this must be used
  • searchRadius -> 1 - Amount of blocks in between blocks to count connected
  • permissionRestricted-> false - Only players with veinminer.use permission can veinmine
  • mergeItemDrops-> false - All item drops are merged to the source block (currently prevent xp drops on paper)
  • durabilityDecrease -> true - If each mined block should reduce durability
  • autoUpdate -> false - Check for updates and download new version if available

Veinminer also contains settings only applicable for users with the client/hotkey addon installed. Those can be edited with /veinminer settings client <setting> <new-value>. Read more about the hotkey addon on clients by selecting the topic Veinminer Hotkey

Setting -> Default - Description

  • allow -> true - If the use of the client mod is allowed. Deactivating will disable the mod on joining
  • translucentBlockHighlight -> true - If block highlighting should be visible through blocks
  • allowAllBlocks -> false - If hotkey user can veinmine every block (respecting other settings)

You can temporarly activate cheats in your world by escape -> open in lan -> cheats enabled. This will Reset on world join again

It saves for all worlds directly.
I experimenting a bit with default configs, as before wood was default a lot people ask how to add it, now people seem to ask how to disable it.

Veinminer is for general purpose of mining similar blocks together. We heared a lot people asking for configs to add wood, so we decided to add it as default. I might remove it again if this question rise too much, its a hard decision
