This started as a salty statement but in all seriousness I genuinely cannot figure out how to play neutral with this character no matter how many times I see her and im honestly tweaking.

I did have a bit of input issues cause im trying to switch from playing on the joystick to dpad so if I was making input blunders thats why
I also have 2 more where I did slightly better if thatd help
But i mostly only did better because I was running a knowledge check
Like if I stand still for even a second I get fucking clobbered so I always feel like I gotta start swinging at the air and then I get whiff punished all day

But I feel like the problems Ive been having are the same with everyone

- gio forces you not to swing big buttons if they're good because they can easily whiff punish so i'd avoid randomly michael swording
- you're playing way too preemptive with your buttons/setups and all the gio is doing is just punishing your mistakes in neutral. instead, try to take up space with low commit options
- they got away with a lot of fake enhanced 236k oki that you could've 6p'd.
- like at 0:48 you're just flailing, all the gio has to do is wait and whiff punish
- you need to take up more space instead of staying fullscreen, especially when your back is near the corner like in 1:05
- block on wakeup more

I was playing premptive because everytime gio dashes at me and presses a button I get hit first

you need to hedge your bets against that advantage
obviously we can always play the "but then she would just run in and mash buttons" game but then we'd be going around in circles
