Gday everyone, kinda new to strive I have around 24 hours and I js made it to floor 7. Im js looking for some advice on matchups with like ramlethal, may and aba cuz they completely wash me everytime lol. I main chipp btw

Srry I cant send may and ram cuz this dumb device refuses to work. But I can say that Im struggling specifically with ram's long normals and her sword projectiles . With may every time I try to get in im usually hit by one of her slash buttons I think or im anti aired, her dolphins are also pretty hard to deal with

ok, so.
your problems aren't to do with matchups. you don't need to think about matchups at all for a good while. you need to focus on playing on the ground. youre spending way too much time jumping and only ever doing j.S and then dying for it. you also aren't blocking at all and are just mashing random buttons in situations instead of thinking about what you're pressing and why. basically you just need to keep calm and avoid panicking, focus on staying grounded and moving around on the floor a lot more too
