He dresses like one in human form, he is stealthy with his invisibility, and his fight style seems to be ninja style

Well, I say that he isn't given his position within the game

I can see how people would think that he plays like a ninja, but I don't think that's the case

From what I know, Reptile in the previous timeline was a loyal servant to Shang Tsung but was his own thing with regard to his race and abilities

In this game, he was manipulated by Shang Tsung and he wanted to redeem himself

I feel that he was just a Zaterran who could shift between the reptilian form and human form but he is not a ninja because he doesn't fight like Bi-Han or Kuai Liang in the game. He's his own thing. Ermac is similar to Smoke and Scorpion, but he's not a ninja. He's a collection of souls

And Rain is a sorcerer instead of a ninja in MK1

Ermac and Rain are definitive in my opinion, but I am not sure about Reptile

Hence why I'm asking

The ninjas in MK are based largely on the originals and the aesthetics. If they dress like a ninja then they are considered an MK ninja. The fighting styles are very loosely based here with Scorpion probably being the most “ninja” and Subzero second. There certainly aren’t ninjas known for morphing into a giant reptile, or breathing fire, or forming ice weapons. Stealth is a huge part of the art of ninjutsu however, and reptile has always been the best in this art.

Not sure what to think here. WB is not a well run organization and the mistakes at the corporate level have definitely influenced MK.

If a deal goes down soon, it could be a possibility that the next kombat pack is the last one similar to MK11 when WB was purchased by Discovery.

in other more happy news MK11 is alive again at least on PC currently pulling basically strive numbers which means it is MOST DEFINITELY playable at a more competitive and casual level and has led me to reinstall the game
