For what a literal Day-1 opinion’s worth. I think either Darrius, Goro, or Jax are the kameo for Omni (if not the usual Lao who’s good with everyone). Jax and Goro can get you 33% off the fullscreen overhead and extend combos as usual (and Jax’s ground unblockable is probably pretty good with a character who can control the air as much as Omni-Man) and Darrius has that and I found you can go into Darrius stun from the usual grab throw route (though the only way I can get it there puts Omni-man and Darrius on opposite sides so you can’t setup the hard-to-blockable wakeup.

Best way I’ve found to at least get some decent xp out of invasions while grinding it is just spam a string that leaves you plus as the ai can’t really handle frame traps, do that for the round and end the killing sting in a brutality and you can still get some decent xp

Tbh I’m torn on if nerfing him would be a good idea as yeah Lao with characters like Johnny is stupid but he makes a lot of lower tiers viable and I do like the variety that that brings.

Like as happy as I was to the Cyrax nerf in the case of Baraka it stunk that it also came with ruining Rain/Cyrax who were far from being a problem and a lot of fun to watch

I'd keep it plus 2 but have it halfway reset neutral. Increase the pushback on block and slightly up the startup frames to 24 so the Lao user can't just immediately dash in and get a strike throw option on block.

But that would take too much work for NRS so they'll likely just make it-2 and call it a day

Then there are tracking moves which are generally slower which will hit people if they try to side step

You would have to do the ambush version of it, since she can't cancel the B2 into a kameo summon since she's airborne. In theory, the setup you had in mind would work better than Lao hat, but a good opponent would recognize the telegraphed Tremor assist and react accordingly

But tbf Tremor is too fresh and still has some exploration to do
