I’ve been saying that in here cause I have a lot of experience playing MK from 11 and I trained with my friend who competes in tourneys while playing Johnny/cyrax which is strong.

It should mean absolutely nothing to someone learning the game

Sub zero is probably “low tier” because he’s pretty unsafe. He can still open you up easily and can combo you off clone

But low tier in this game is really strong lol

Don’t really expect to be popping huge combos due to your pressure. You wanna land projectiles and keep your pressure up when needed. If you wanna reset neutral and throw more projectiles then do it

2-2 is plus on block I think

That's what I did. I ended up doing a lot of zoning, throws , and like only combo I landed was just the B2 combo on mis spaced moves from them or punishes

You need to monitor when they like to press d1. What you can do is 2-2 (plus) then go into back 2 string to see if they know that. It doesn’t trap cause they can d1 and beat it. If they like to d1 then you can do 2-2 into d1 and beat theirs and reset pressure

Gameplan is the same with f4 stagger

You can do f4 stagger into d1 and you can catch people pressing because they fear the full string. Once you can condition them to stop pressing then you can throw, strike, etc.

Mix up your staggers and strings and monitor when they will press. You can also do f4 stagger into block then block their poke and retake your turn

He’s got strike throw mix not low overhead mix. Once you start throwing him, he will start neutral ducking. Then you pop him with F4 into a big combo. Once they struggle with retaking their turn cause of your stagger pressure they will press when they shouldn’t and you can hit them with back 2 or F4 and combo the shit out of them. That’s how you’ll open people up with him

There is one triple battle in which you get TONS of Exp if you flawless the 3 opponents and end in a brutality
Which isn't even hard if your chars are already high level
