she has to actually do something slightly more involved than Target/Kill Enemy
when I played her, which admittedly I didn't do a ton with her, my experience was that it can be difficult to keep her energy economy up when you have a team because things are blowing up too fast
this is not a problem most other energy battery frames have
you could argue harrow, but harrow has an easier time getitng kills by taking any gun that's good at that than oraxia does getting executes off, no?
harrow pulls up with an arca plasmor/etc. and has a full energy gauge in two shots

RN I got a build for transient fortitude/blind rage/umbral intensify for str, prime flow for max energy, and archon vitality/continuity/stretch for a while cavalcade of effects
Vitality gives double heat procs (3 burn DMG go fwoosh)
Stretch makes it so applying electricity with abilities gives energy Regen
Continuity means toxin effects from abilities also apply corrosive (important in a bit)

(Thanks to harrows speed buff on 2 you can get away with modding for damage and not rate of fire, since most if not all alt fire mods don't really benefit him I don't slot an incantation mod, since I switched out the 1 for roar I use the canticle that gives you shield regen for the team which allows for easier 2 upkeep)
It is a utility tool that is used best by Warframes who ironically don't need to use weapons at all (like ash)
Outside of those Warframes juggling that 30 second buff is just a pain in the ass
Other than that it can't be a reliable backup weapon or a good primer

As you main form of DMG (empower ) doesn't actually scale on any normal DMG sources iirc

That also would synergize well with the multiplicative gunco/base dmg
For the extra SC to hit 100% and the dmg
Only problem is that setup shoots itself in the foot if you or your ally run elemental infuse abilities that fight for your weapons modded DMG types status procs
Also unless you have a primer pet or have a primary primer (I'd recommend cedo for that) you only get 1 status to use with gunco so that could lead to your damage buff being less potent than expected (but you can build around that)
Idk there's definitely ways to mod to make that thing do a lotta DMG
If you wanna run secondary irradiate and still have some status as a backup you could mod in 60/60s for cold,toxin, heat, cause that'll give you a ratio of 3:4 for viral/rad cause electricity is innately 100% of the weapons base DMG I believe
If you wanna stack the ratio more you can either then use the rad secondary mod (I forget it's secondary effect so maybe not depending on what that does), the electric 60/60 also for more sc, and/or smit infuse subsume, not only do you gain a "fuck that guy in particular" button you also get a extra rad DMG buff that scales off str. Highly recommend trying that with a frame like chroma who gets a base DMG buff too because his damage becomes self multiplicative off power str which is super fucken cool

You could run irradiate to make it a proper aoe gun but rad on your gun isn't that great cause the SC is split between 50% rad puncture/blast which isn't good for it

no I used bastille for a few reasons
my setup was
1: have a fuckmillion energy and efficiency and range
2: find a relevant chokepoint
3: wisely place bastilles for armor stripping
4: press nourish
5: throw down some yoink grenades to drag enemies into the bastille
6: have a bunch of needle grenades set where they get dragged
7: hang out in the bastille and throw more down wheenever energy tops out. Doesn't matter where, just more, as long as they aren't keeping enemies outside the important zone to die in.
bastille with its enormous defense buff that you could get from it, and the fact you could just throw another down to re-up it when traveling between zones, meant you could get some serious survivability going as a frame that can simply decide people aren't allowed to do anything
with bastille strip and viral on the needle grenades, everything, no matter the level, just dies.
might not die quite as quickly as i.e. a typical nuke frame, but it was fun setting things up, fun maintaining the setup, and being able to just go absolutely batshit throwing bastilles everywhere was core to the character experience

And really the whole wether or not a frame ends up being good in modern day moreso ends up depending on how the kit was designed
If a kit was made to kill shit good, odds are that frame is still decently good, if not then your frame kinda needs to do something else or you suffer for it
Not to say nidus can't work, he just has to try a little harder than other frames to work good
The 2 works exceptionally well with a beam weapon that chains if you build for punch through, cause each punch through hit spawns more beams, get enough punch through and your damage effectively stacks off enemy count rather than level
