It hits a top speed of 80ish m/s, meaning it's almost as fast as max duration zephyr 1, on paper, the problem being vector pad is limited to purely lateral speed, with it not really letting you carry momentum well
...that is unless you slide over vector pad and bullet jump during the yeet, since that converts your lateral speed into momentum better
So what I want to try is a max str vauban yeeting a max duration zephyr and seeing if the momentum of a vector pad slide bullet jump carries into zephyr 1 for max zoom
Thag and or try it with a max str nidu

Like I decided to look into the whole blast dmg formula Calc and I genuinely think chroma can uniquely abuse it really hard cause he buffs specifically base dmg
Cause like the formula is dmg=(x)*.3×modded base×(1+faction)×(1+elementalist dmg buff)
With x being # of stacks
Assuming you get 1 stack on a 100 raw weapon, chroma can get .3x900=270 dmg from blast with 300% str
The average faction mod is 1.3, so you end up getting .3x100x1.3= 39 dmg
Even if you have a 300% str rhino with a 150% roar, that's still .3x100x2.5= 75 dmg
Like yeah that's not considering the rhino investing in raw mods, but at the same time that's not accounting for the chroma also investing in other mods
Like something like elementalist basically doubles you're blast damage for pretty cheap mod estate
Which is prolly better for blast specifically because blast doesn't actually scale off your weapons dmg dealt at all so you don't double dip off factions

Like originally I came up with this convoluted concept where you get a different element for 1/2 determined by your emissive color 1/2. Change 1 to be a elemental infuse ability on tap, hold to cycle element for 1, 2 remains the same but with a hold input to cycle wards at a reduced energy cost of its already active, keep 3 the same aside from adding multiplicative DMG back, and making 4 a dragon install type ability which allows your 1/2 to effectively let you use multiple elements in 1 go (like if you had 1 be toxic and 2 be cold, when you activate 1 you get cold and toxic infused into your weapon, and if you activate 2 you get both cold and toxic wards) along with a few other buffs
But looking back on it
Just do away with the whole one at a time elemental bullshit and just let him get all the effects simultaneously

New chroma rework idea is simple
-1 now fires a fireball that deals 200 DMG per element, maxing out base elemental stacks for anything that gets hit by it or it's 10m explosion radius (based on the current 10m radius for both the current breathe/spread radius from hitting breath, scales on range), augment is changed to make it so the explosion radius remains a field that primes enemies with maxed base elemental proccs for 10 seconds (duration scaling)
-2 applies all former buffs to self exclusively now, augment lets teammates get it by being within 15m of chroma on activation, and they keep the buffs for full duration (prolly nerf the helminth version across the board alot tho)
-3 is now multiplicative to both armor and DMG buffs
-4 is now toxic lash but for all base elements, as a channel ability, each attack does a extra hit of 10% cold, heat, toxin, and electric damage, while force proccing 1 stack of each basic elemental proc, augment enables use of the dragon uninstall wirh all those effects remaining in tact
Genuinely this would make chroma fantastic for DMG
1 primes enemies for gunCO/CO
2 makes him harder to kill, and thanks to the toxin ward buffs gives him some QoL buffs between more reload/base damage on holstering
3 returns it to the way it should've always been
4 gives him some extra elemental damage to really hammer home the concept of "there's no kill like overkill"
Probably would make him the best weapon platform frame in terms of sheer fucking damage, but tbf, it's also damage exclusively limited to whatever his weapons can hit
So honestly it's prolly fine
